The Herald boots trace their heritage back to a long line of British rangers and share the design features of jump boots worn by U.S paratroopers. This style is the updated 2015 version and features a 14-eyelet lace fastening for a secure and relaxed fit that is aided by a removable padded insole and strong pull loops for comfortable wear and ease in getting these boots on and off. This boot is made strong and sturdy by a chunky, oil resistant air cushion commando sole which has been welted using the Goodyear method for extra durability and is fitted with a steel toe cap for extra safe wear.
